This  little rambling about patience and  time only earns Bard  an eyeroll,
for Legolas has not asked for his words of wisdom but something entirely
different. With a minimal motion, a tilt of his head is made while his gaze
in a curious expression remains pinned to the human’s features.

”I would not have assumed that  you are afraid to be spontaneous.
One should think that someone whose life span is so short would
risk a little bit more. And a complete stranger I am not.”

“Your behavior leaves plenty to be desired,”

Finding the words to leave his mouth before he could stop himself. If Bard even had the decency to flush, but it was hardly a thing to be embarrassed before Legolas, when it seemed all the cards were on the table. To say that the prince left little to be desired– it presented itself as an  obvious contradictory statement considering he was only a mere inch distanced away from the prince before him. Aversion of his eyes away from the other, away.

“I find it difficult to move after a fact was stated rather tactlessly.  My
life may be minute in comparison to yours, but do not belittle my presence.”
