        So I really am not sure how this happened.  I made the blog a little over a year ago ( January 2nd, in fact ) and I took a giant like six month hiatus.  When I came back in something like November I was at 540-some followers annnd…  Now I’m here.

        I don’t want to gush too long.  I really just wanted to say how much I appreciate that you’re here and that you enjoy my portrayal enough to stay.  I’ve been told that I’m actually Bilbo behind the screen but uh, I really believe he’d be a lot more eloquent than I am right now; an unfortunate circumstance really but I’m shocked and flattered that so many of you think to tell me so.

First off, I want to say how incredibly blessed I am to have found the Tolkien fandom. Tauriel is the first canon character I’ve roleplayed since Claire Bennett (yes from Heroes) seven years ago, and I cannot be happier with that decision. I’ve been welcomed so easily into this fandom with open arms, and I made this blog a little over a week ago. It simply blows my mind.

I started this tumblr on Dec 29th, a week ago, and the first time I ever interacted with someone else (besides my friend silvxnelf, who encouraged me to actually come to this fandom), was on Dec 31th, 5 days ago, with therangerofithilien. 

I have experience from RPing of 10 years, but only 2 of english RP. Only 2 of Tumblr RP. I will be honest I was quite scared to join the Tolkien fandom at first. I used to stalk people here, and everyone was so talented and knew so much more than I, I felt kinda intimidated. Until, again, thanks to my friend, I decided to actually join here, after she did.  You see, english is not my first language, even though I can understand everything very well, I still miss terms I want to use, my grammar may fail as well, or I might use wrong words sometimes thinking they’re the right ones. I also do not have enough knowledge about the stories, not, at least, as I wanted to. So I obviously felt afraid.
The other fandoms I tried I always felt awkward for some reason. Either for issues between players (small issues but turned so big that killed the fandom), venomous people, closed groups, I had to struggle so much to try to fit. And then I came here, and found everyone was so warm and gentle, this made me feel so light. I felt really welcomed here. And this is one of the best feeling I could ever have in so much time, when I’m needing to feel light and to smile.

I want to thank you, everyone, everyone who followed and interacted with me.
